10am access to change rooms and sign on
10.30am Tweed Heads Sports Club representative will welcome Aikido Club to the Tweed Heads Sports Club
10.35am Sensei Michael Williams will conduct the opening Ceremony and conduct a class after opening Ceremony
Class finishes between 12.30pm and 1pm
Bistro booked from 1pm onwards about 30 people expected at the moment (private room at the back of Bistro) – NOTE Bistro closes for orders at 2pm
Social after lunch in the Club Lounge which is on the left of the top of the escalators.

The founder of Aikido, Master Ueshiba, said that this form was “The Art of Peace”, with the whole idea being to return all situations to a state of harmony.

Visitors are welcome to watch or join in.

Aikido is considered suitable for all people young and old, as high levels of strength and fitness are not necessary to protect ourselves.
